Peer Review Process

Vox Journal has an Advisory Board composed of researchers whose attribution is to analyze, through the blind review system, the articles sent for publication. Specialists in Law, History, Social Sciences, Anthropology and related areas are part of the Council, in order to contemplate both the theoretical-methodological plurality and the interdisciplinary character of studies involving legal, political, institutional, social and cultural issues. Each member of the Board selected for evaluation is responsible for issuing an opinion on articles that deal with their area of research. If the topic of a text turns out to be so specific that there is not, on the Advisory Board, a member with satisfactory conditions to evaluate it, it is up to the Editorial Board to appoint an ad hoc consultant. In case of disapproval and at the discretion of the Editorial Board, the article may be submitted for a new evaluation.

Entries will be sent for evaluation by at least one member of the journal's Editorial or Advisory Board. The evaluated works will receive the following concepts: ApprovedApproved with restrictions and Rejected.

The author of the registered work will be able to follow the status of its submission at the electronic address http://www.fadileste.edu.br/revistavox.

When the work is considered Approved with restrictions, its author(s) will be informed, via email, of the restrictions and will have a period of 15 (fifteen) days to make the necessary and suggested changes and resubmit the work to Vox . If this deadline is not met, the work will automatically receive the concept of Rejected.

The approved works will be published, according to the demand of the Vox Journal with regard to the processes of editing, elaboration of graphic art and online publication of the magazine. Thus, selected works can be published immediately, or they can be put on hold for publication in later editions.

Evaluation guidelines

When evaluating the works submitted for selection and publication, the members of the Advisory and Editorial Board will observe the criteria of coherence, cohesion, relevance, originality, creativity and adequacy of the work to one of the thematic axes of the journal.
